Affiliate disclosure

Blue Collar Stack is a directory. We plan to earn money from featured listings, newsletter sponsorships, and affiliate links. That relationship will be labeled.

Today, every “Visit” button goes to the vendor’s ordinary public website. The affiliate field on each tool is filled with that same URL. We do not earn a commission on those clicks. When a link becomes an affiliate link, the tool page will say so, and the link will use a sponsored relationship marker.

Paid placements will be labeled Sponsored. Editorial notes and the “starting points” on the home page are not paid. A featured flag without a sponsored flag is labeled “Featured · not paid,” so a highlight is not mistaken for an ad.

We do not invent prices, star ratings, review counts, user counts, or testimonials. If we have not checked a price on the vendor’s site, the directory says “See site.”

A commission, when one exists later, would not change the price a shop pays the vendor. It also will not be a promise that the product is the right one for a particular crew.
